Product Description
Many new vehicles come with factory exhaust valves that open and close depending on what mode your car is in. When this flap opens, it may change the exhaust flow to give your vehicle a louder sound. Some of these valves are connected to the cars factory electronics. An aftermarket exhaust is one of the most popular first upgrades for tuning enthusiasts. However if the new exhaust system does not retain this factory exhaust valve, you may incur a check engine light or drive mode failure like on the Focus RS pictured.
Agency Power has developed this exhaust valve delete box that acts as a simulator with the factory valve. Once you remove the factory valve from the stock exhaust, you leave it electronically connected to the car. The valve cannot just be plugged in, but needs to still function like normal. The exhaust valve delete box features an aluminum construction that has been formed to connect to the factory valve unit profile. Each box has been powder coated matte black to be very durable from the elements. Inside the box is a CNC machined, 6061 aluminum indicator that allows the factory exhaust valve components to act as if it were still installed. The position of the valve is what tells the car if the valve is open or closed. The kit comes with new stainless steel hardware to mount the valve to the box and a bracket to mount the box on the underside of the car.
